THE HOLDING COMPANY
The company was incorporated in 2015 with the aim of purchasing equity interests in other companies and entities, for investment purposes and/or taking on a management and coordination role, excluding any financial activity vis-à-vis the public.
The main aim was to take over the operational company Ferrario S.p.A from the sole shareholder Seconda S.p.a., and the operation was successfully completed in 2016. In the same year, the asset management company Imi Fondi Chiusi SGR of Intesa Sanpaolo Group and MPVenture SGR acquired a stake in the share capital of Ferrario Holding.
According to the most recent estimates, MPVenture manages assets totalling around € 400 million.
In 2016 Ferrario Holding went from being a limited liability company to a joint stock company, with an increase in its share capital from € 10,000.00 to € 100,000.00, fully paid up; its business purpose remained unchanged. Today the company has three shareholders:
